Turner Hall, designed by architect and German immigrant Henry H. Koch and built in 1882, is a multi-use four-story building that currently houses the Historic Turner Restaurant, a gymnasium, meeting rooms and the two-story Turner Hall Ballroom. Since its dedication in 1883, Turner Hall has hosted a variety of social, political and cultural events guided by the Turner principle "a sound mind in a sound body." Turner Hall is a National Landmark, a local Historical Landmark, and holds a listing on the National Registry of Historic Places.
